Mossberg/Maverick Bullpup stock only?

Just wondering if anybody knows where to purchase only the bullpup conversion stock, without the actual Mossberg shotgun inside.

I already have a 500 8-shot persuader that I'd like to throw in the bullpup conversion stock. Can't seem to find just the stock online. Seems like a great "accessory" and I'm surprised more weren't made.

Any other company make something close?

I think the OP is looking for just the stock, not the full gun. I've never seen just the stock for sale, it seems like the sort of thing that if they were available they would be easy to find (like the 10/22 bullpup stocks).

yeah just the stock. Wonder why these aren't more popular for an add-on accessory. ?? Mossy (or any aftermarket company) would make bank if they just sold them separately. Dudes with some extra cash to blow but not wanting a whole 'nother shotgun would be snapping them up like warm bread.

As far as I can tell no one makes a conversion kit. If anyone did, it would probably be these guys.

From gun values 14th edition. Mossberg made a 500 bullpup in 6 & 8 shot variations From 1986 to 1990. "Designed for law enforcement;" may be illegal in some jurisdictions.

Have seen one a gun show show once, it looked cool, but not cool enough for the asking price.

If you are just looking for a way to make your mossberg more compact you might want to consider the strikeforce folding m-4 stock from ATI I put one my Persuader for HD and I am happy with it. Folded up to the shortest position the gun is very compact while still having a shoulder stock.

I'll have to see if folding stocks on shotguns are legal where I am.

But in actuality I was just wanting a little project to do with my mossy, and to temporarily make it look "badasser" until I got sick of the look and wanted to go back to normal. Didn't want to buy a whole 'nother gun just for a movie-style temporary look.
