Well if we are talking about quotes that are less than correct then the above is one of them. I don't want to insult the person who wrote this and call it assinine - even though the sentiment expressed in the quote probably has insulted a lot of LEOs. Sometimes people have to remove their heads from a dark place where the sun does not shine and see the light of day. Acting like an Ostrich and then telling the world a description of a thing that you missed seeing because your head was buried to the neck is not a very good way to gain support of those whom you are describing. There are plenty of police officers, sheriffs, marshals, federal agents, district attorneys, federal prosecutors, probation officers, corrections officers who are strong supporters of the right to keep and bear arms, including so called assault weapons. I do not know if we are in the majority or not but, I sure as heck know we number a great deal more than four, nor are we limited to using this site!I have little doubt that the majority of law-enforcement officers supports “assault-weapons†bans, just like the majority of the general public. Of course, there are pro-RKBA cops out there, but I think all four of them post here on the High Road.
