I just picked up a mag for my Supermatic Trophy for $35.00. Was wondering what is the most you've ever paid for a pistol magazine, for what weapon and how much was it?

On the order of $75 for some Smith and Wesson pre-ban .40 mags back in about '95 or '96. May sound crazy now, but when they went well over $100 a couple of years later it seemed like an good deal.

$20 for Glock Model 21 13 round magazine.

Friend paid $120 for H&K P-7M13 13 round magazine. He bought 3 at the time. Said it was the cheapest he was able to find right before the 94-ban.

Seen P7M8 mags going for around $65-75 all the time, occasionally see some idiot buying them for $100 plus.

I paid $45 for a 10 round magazine for a Firestorm 9mm which is, or was at the time, a $300 gun (new).

I bought a Manuhrin PPK/S in 22 long rifle in the middle 1980's. it came with two but I decided I needed some more and the only extra magazines available were genuine Walthers at $35 each ($105 for 3 more) and that was 20 years ago

It is not the most expensive magazine, but the most I have personally paid for a magazine is $39 out the door (with tax) for a S&W M&P9C.

    $300 for a Beta-C AR mag w/pouch and goodies.

For handguns, my Witness Limited 10mm mags are about $85/ea.

Try pricing Snail Drum magazines for Lugers. Stretching the point, to be sure, but....still a pistol magazine.

I bought a Llama MicoMax 45 NIB that only came with one mag. The box had a price sheet for extra mags, $50 EACH not including shipping. Sold it the next month because nobody made aftermarket mags for such a new gun.

$220 for a Steyr GB mag. $150 to $175 is more usual, but I got tired of being constantly outbid at those prices so I just bit the bullet. It was the second mag for the gun, and with that one acquired I will spend considerably less on any more that I acquire.

I do not know about today but I used to see Galil mags for $65 to well over $100
during the ban and the great magazine shortage it was not uncommon to see Glock mags going for over $100 especially at the gun show scalpers tables.:what:

I would also rate Luger magazines in the high end of prices as anything goes depending on rarity and condition just remember to bring a box of kleenex after buying a few of these.

H&K P7M13. Got 2 during the ban that were $80 per copy. If you're lucky you might find one priced at $75 now. Many places that still have them are going for $100.
