Folks, never forget that the President has the power to shape the Surpreme Court - and this shape remains well past their terms in office. The fear of a liberal SC scares the hell out of me to be honest and we must all vote to keep that from happening. If Clinton/Obama get elected, they could shape this court so it could affect my rights for the rest of my life.

I know many folks say they won't vote for the lesser of two evils - just remember that the SC has the power to interpret the Constitution and it's appointments are for life...

    +1

Those who think not voting for the lesser of two evils will help us are sorely wrong. In this election the independant candidate will make or break the republicans, unlike many of the previous elections where the independent affected the Democrats.

There are only two real ways to change our government are revolution(not going to happen) or by elections, and voting for the candidate who closest matches your views.

    absolutely.
This is probably the biggest reason that the "give 'em Hillary for 4 years and see how they like it!" line of reasoning is not-so-hot.
Some of the conservatives I meet and read, and hear, and see scare me.
They are so wrapped up in their one candidate that I fear they have a "I'm voting for so-and-so or NOBODY" attitude.
I support Thompson. I love the guy. BUT I'm not so wrapped up in him that I'd forgo voting against Hillary or Barry H.O. by not voting at all if he doesn't get the nod.
    Voting against Hillary/Barack = a vote FOR the toys you love...firearms. :)
