I did 4000+ rounds (9mm/40S&W/45ACP) with jacketed/plated/lead/Moly coated lead bullets for a family/friends range trip. It took me all day with several rest breaks (poor Pro 1K press ... :D).

I told everyone next day that they had to pick up the spent cases as my fingers/hands were out of commission. I tried shooting a few times, but it was not a pleasant experience. I essentially spent the day loading magazines and cleaning pistols. Thankfully, everyone had a great time and I came home with more brass.

Wow! that's lot of ammo in one sitting. I'm never in it for the big numbers but one day last winter I loaded 600 rounds of both 45 and 9 one afternoon. Nothing compared to some of the big-time loaders though

I think 300 is my max as well, loaded on a single stage.

500 45acp on a Rockchucker. Needless to say it took awhile.

I did 600 9mm yesterday. Didn't take that much time on a Dillon 650 though. I'm sure I've done at least twice that before, but it's been a long time.

Can't say it was one sitting as I had to stand to get stuff to load into the machine but ran 6000 through one of my machines in 4 hours and 48 min with a few pitstops.

I casted 8000 bullets in about 10 or so hours once. I'm a fast learner so now I don't do that anymore!. now I only cast for a couple/four hours at a stretch.

I'm new to reloading so my largest batch was 100 .35 Rem cartridges. Experimental rounds to find what the Marlin likes to eat.

1000 pistol. Any more than that and I start getting tired and making silly mistakes.

I did somewhere between 250-300 .40's on my turret press thats the most in one sitting. The most I've done in one day is 500.

I don't know for sure about one sitting, and I suspect it was in two or three shifts, but the most I've loaded in a single day is 219, all .40cal and .223, on 16 Dec last year. All of these were loaded on a Hornady LNL SS press.

Never counted the per session loads, but last Sunday my wife was gone all day, so I managed to get 1800 rounds of .308 done in an afternoon and still got dinner ready for her when she got back home.

I usually limit my reloading to an hour maybe an hour and half. I will reload 5 to 6 hundred rounds of pistol ammo on my Dillon 550B during that time. In my youth when I was still working I would do the 1000 round sessions in the evenings after work but not anymore.

Just finished my most productive session. 70 rounds of 8x57 and 50 of 7x57. Not a ton, but at least somewhat productive for being at home with a cold.

1000 9mm, with a lee loader. Loaded all those rounds with a hammer and only blew 3 primers. That was a record, since I tend to pop 1 in 20 of them.

2000 rounds of 9mm in just over 4 hrs one time. That is the max my back will allow at one setting. Normally it tells me to quit after about 1000 rounds.

For me it depends on what I use.

Most I ever did was 400 .45LC using my Lee turret in single stage mode, in one afternoon.

Just recently I did 300 .45ACP using a Lee Handpress while watching NASCAR on TV. Took about 4 hours, but I should say that the cases were already sized/deprimed and cleaned.

Last time we went to Knob Creek I cranked out about 8000 rounds of .45 and 9mm, but the Dillon 1050 is cheating just a little. Took most of a day.

I reload as the mood strikes me and spend a max of two or three hours in one session I reckon? My ammo needs are not great and are more than met by my Lee Classic turret. At my super relaxed pace that's about 150-175 rounds per hour.

I took up this fun hobby/passtime as just that- a way to pass the time. I get the benefit of lower ammo costs as a free bonus. It is also why I have no need for a progressive - sure I could make my realistic ammo needs for the year in a just a few hours on a Dillon 650 or 1050.........and then what? Take up painting by numbers? - lol
