Most unusual handgun you've carried.

When I rode my Harley in the late 60's, I carried a double barrel 45 muzzle loader that I bought new for $85. Cheap Italian Howda copy, shot quite well with PRB. Best part was when stopped by LE and they wanted to open it or make it go bang so they could arrest me for having a sawed off shotgun, I always removed the caps when stopped, I kept a tin in my tool kit to replace after they left. I had to pull it twice, but never had to fire it as the double barrels were enough to cool any aggression.

Custom Broomhandle mauser with 8" barrel; Belgian copy of Smith and Wesson double action New Frontier in 44-40; Pieper rolling block in 22 long, 6mm Flobert muff pistol; 8" Luger in 30 Luger; 11mm Montenegrin; 455 Mark III Webley

Llama 38 super with K frame rear sight. Only briefly. And long enough ago that the statute of limitations has run out.

A S&W 629 with a 3" barrel. Loaded with .44 Special, however.

For several years I carried a S&W 3913 Lady Smith. Not really an unusual carry piece, but I know some guys balk at the "Lady" moniker on the slide.

At one time I use to carry a Colt Vest Pocket .25
It was small and it went a lot of places bigger gun would not, mainly in the vest pocket of a suit.

In the early 80's, carried a Beretta 1935 a few times when I had to go to the interesting part of town. It's was a 32acp unofficial Italian service round. That pistol was reliable and accurate.

It was good enough for Bond. (for all you 'bond carried a PPK!' naysayers, in the books, he originally carried a Beretta M1935.) I carried a Cz24 for a while.

For a brief period a few years ago I carried a Charter Arms Bulldog .44 Spl revolver.

That's not really that unusual. Unless... Did you have the "body kit" installed?

(Yes, that's a fully functional Bulldog inside, just like the actual movie prop. And I would have to move to an open-carry state if I had one.)
