It turns out a M4 carbine w/ the M68 optic mounted on the upper receiver rail won't fit in the rack of the Apache. Other than the odd ergonomics, is there anything to prevent an Aimpoint from working properly mounted on the Knight Armament's side rail? Might have to add a spacer b/c of where the stock mounts on the shoulder sideways, and we'll have to rejigger the zero b/c the distance from the center dot to the bbl has changed, but anything fundamental that will not work?
