Same DNA... what did you expect? :) They seem to breed fast around here... (guns in general, and especially JM Browning designs)....

Some very nice photos of the mousers folks, keep em coming.

I've always like the true mousers from the early years. Carried a 25 colt junior for a few years in the early 70's. My first gun was that colt 25 pocket gun, bought in 1973. Wish I still had that one.

The .25 Baby Browning, I've had one of them, real precision pistol as another mentioned before.

Presently the only mousers I have are another of the Colt Junior 25's, two Kel-Tec 32's, and the Kahr pm9. I don't carry the Colt, but the Kel-tec 32 and pm9 get carried, ocassionally at the same time with the Kahr in the back pocket and the Kel-tec in a front pocket.

Nice thread topic. Some of the older mousers are are real nice, others didn't work that well. I always found the colt junior and the baby browning to be very reliable though.

How about using your mouse gun for a 100 yard plinker.:)

Beretta Minx 22 Short.
The pasters mark the 22 hits.
(I was having a old fart's shaking day yesterday, so missed with 6 shots with the Minx:( )

M2 Carbine;

I'd say you did very well with that mouser at that range. Wonder if they would penetrate a body at that range though.

How much did you hold over, if any at that distance?

Nice

That Beretta shoots down and left, so I aimed at the top right corner of the paper. The last time I shot the Minx at 100 yards I put a 5 inch bullseye target top right and hit the silhouette 11 times out of 14 (I think).

The target board is 1/2 inch plywood and the Shorts went through that. Next time I shoot the Minx I'll see if I have something else to put behind the target.

As I recall a 22 Short has trouble making it through a 2x4 up close.

One thing though the bullets are flying true, no signs of yawing or tumbling in the 100 yard target.
