I've been gone from Pasadena 9 years now, moving back soon. Need to know any gun ranges close to Pasadena, indoor and outdoor! Will need a place that allows Lead bullets.

There is also a new range that opened up off the Gulf Freeway down toward LaMarque.. Really nice indoor facility just off 45 South at FM 649 Exit.. darn if I can remember the name...

If you are a Rifle Shooter, there are Public Ranges in Texas City, and the Pearland Gun Club has ranges out to 200 yds, but it is a members only facility..

Baileys House of Guns off old 288 just south of Beltway 8 on Bluebonnet Dr. not too bad, pretty informal..

And if you are a long range freak, Bayou Rifles has a really nice range facility off 288, about 15 miles south of Beltway 8 near the settlement of Juliff that has a very nice short pistol range, a 50 yard range, a really nice 100 yard benchrest range with wind breaks on three sides. A 200 and 300 yard range, and for restricted use, behind the 300 berm, a 600 and 1000 yard range... there are caliber restrictions no 50 BMG, no .338 Lapua, and I believe some others with high velocities and very hig BC.. they are concerned about errant rounds, and you have to qualify on the longer ranges. The Great thing about Bayou Rifles at Juliff is that you have a combination to the gate, and sometimes you may be the only one there if you shoot during the week.

Here is what little I know about facilities on the south side of Houston....

Don't know about lead use there... I dropped in there one night after spotting it coming out of a restaurant it's behind Logan's Steak house in a new upscale shopping center.. .. it seemed pretty well put together.. they spent some money on it.. ahh.. found it..

My family has held a membership there since 1956..
