Not all people who own or carry guns can be considered firearms enthusiasts correct? Some might not even like guns but still recognize the value of one.

They have just the one gun and know which ammo to buy but outside of that they don't think about guns or weaponry much, if at all.

So how about a poster starring such a person?

I envision the poster as having three frames to it and it would be something like:

FIRST PIC Woman standing near car with child nearby, reflection of armed, smiling BG in car window

TEXT "I don't like guns much..."

NEXT PIC The woman has gotten a gun from somewhere (purse or beltline) and is in the process of bringing the muzzle to bear. Reflection of armed, frowning BG in car window

TEXT "But I love my child and I love my life and dignity"

FINAL PIC Muzzle pointed at camera, reflection of fleeing, unarmed BG

TEXT "And I will defend them"

So how about it? Is this any good? I've looked through all of your posters and I don't recall seeing one like this, though it is in the same vein as the one with the woman in the hallway.

    Sorry, I'm not Mr. Volk...

But I like the idea and would love to see another Oleg Volk masterpiece. I'm thinking of printing up a few for the local shop.

    That sounds great.

You're right, not all people who own guns are "gun people."

Hmmm... what kind of phrasing... (need to be careful in the first panel - have to be neutral but not apathetic)

I was never into guns like my Dad.

But I love my children as much as my Dad loved his.

    ...and I Will protect them.

Hmmmm... How to phrase it...... ??

I think it's an excellent approach. My take on the copy:

    Another one

Since we're sharing our ideas with Oleg....
    Scene: Playground.
Background (but clear in the photo) badguy trying to pull young child from playground equipment. Child holding on for dear life.
Foreground: Hip shot (only the waistline) of concealed carry just about to clear leather. Preferably a female.
Caption: Concealed Carry. It is for the children.

Would love to be model, but distance separates us. If you can wait till July I'll be there for a little as far as things are planned. These ideas are great. I hope they are getting into the right hands cause they are powerful.

I am sure that I can shoot these ideas in July because it would take some pre-planning to line up all the models and props. Besides, I always have something going on.

    Oleg,
My wife and I have a 9 year old little girl and a 3 year old little boy. We are just down the road from you in Hermitage. If you are interested, I could ask the OWMBO. I think she would do it.
