    Hey everybody,

I was looking through my hunting manual and the ODFW website and find references to muzzleloader season (that is, they reference that it is illegal to use a non-muzzleloader durring such seasons) but it does not say when there is such a season. Further, it doesn't even flat out say there is a muzzleloader season.

So, any Oregonians out there that can help me out? Do we even have this season? If so, when is it?

    Thanks,
    Imperial Guardsman

Feel free to move this to the muzzleloading section if that is a better fit.

This is the units and such for muzzle loader. From a quick scan, the weapons allowed is 40+ caliber open ignition open sites only. Source was http://www.dfw.state.or.us/resources/hunting/big_game/regulations/docs/2012_big_game_regs_045-060.pdf

No problem. Having hunted as a Non Resident in most every state in the country, I have become quite proficient in the art of looking up stuff on the convoluted DNR sites. They can be, and often are, confusing at times. Good luck to you.
