My guns! *see picture below* ...Not a ton, or that cool... but I'm a poor college student and I'm proud of them.
From left to right...
-My grandpa's Remington 700 30-06. Kicks like a mule, but I love it. I added the bipod because I'm too tall for the table they have at the range.
-My Americanized, 922r & AWB compliant Yugo SKS. I wasted a lot of time and money to legally modify a Yugo SKS. I should have just bought a VEPR II... I guess I was just mad because someone told me I couldn't do it. :-/ Anyway, I bought as many US made parts as possible, learned the laws, wrote the ATF to double check, then disassembled it, gnawed off the threading and the bayonet lug, reassembled it with US parts. It still shoots really well, but the US made magazine I had for it was CRAP, so now I don't have any magazines for it. I reccomend that noone do this because it's a huge waste of money for no gain. I'm hoping someone comes out with good, US made magazines after the ban is up. Otherwise I might figure out how to legally and safely sporterize it if possible...
-The Savage arms .22 I bought for the GF to use. I ended up really liking it. Ammo is just so damn cheap, and the little 4x pellet gun scope makes shooting full cans of root beer a blast. She uses it sometimes too.
-My remington 870 express magnum. This is my HD gun... I added the choate top folder because of the cramped hallways in my apartment. I practice from the hip at the range, and I can hit a man sized target at 25 yards 100% of the time. Also, tac light is good for making sure it's not just some drunk who got the wrong place. College town and all...
-My Crossman 788 bb gun. My dad bought this for me when I was like 8. He taught me all about gun safety, how to hit a target, and that I shouldn't shoot any living thing I'm not planning on eating... I'd like to pass this onto my kids some day, but unfortunatly he started a small business right after this and never had time to give me the lesson on cleaning. It's got a bit of rust and may not last long enough.
*Coming soon* - Kel-tec p 32 w/ one of those pocket buddy lazer sights
-Glock 23 for CC (permit should be here within 1 week).
-Remington 700p so I can retire the old 30-06 until my grandson turns 18.
-AR-15 before they pass a new AWB
-VEPR II 7.62x39mm before they pass another AWB.
