I just won my first 1911 off of GunBroker.com. It is a Springfield V-16, 6" .45 Super.
Now I have to find some good .45 super ammo. Can anyone direct me to a good
manufacture and web or brick & mortar store (in DFW) that carries the .45 super.

Also if anyone has any experience with one of these I'd love to hear about it.

Congrats on the V16! ;) I had been eye-ing one for a while a few years back. Now remember you can still use standard 45 acp ammo through your pistol, so that while you are on your quest for the 45 super, you can still get the gun dirty :D

10-Ring, Thank you. It is "1 of 3" I really want to get (left is the iAi 10mm Javelina
and Springfield 10mm OMEGA). Will it still cycle properly with the .45 super spring or
will I have to find a 6" standard .45 spring?

Bump for Monday.

Thanks Andy... not quite at that stage yet. I'd like to get some preloaded
rnds first, but I will get some brass for it.
