Just got this in the mail yesterday:

The holster was made by eric over at www.hbeleatherworks.com .

I can't recommend that guy enough; he does great work, and makes sure the customer is happy.

In fact, I didn't see the mag holster in the packaging when it first arrived like a moron, so when I asked Eric about it, he said, that he must've misplaced it, and he'd try to find it, but if he couldn't, he'd make you another.

    Great guy, great leather.

The backside of the holster is horse-hide, and the front is steer.

The color is "Black cherry", and it looks amazing.

In person, it looks black, but under certain lights it looks like a really dark red.

The mag holster is the same.

Honestly, the leatherwork is just outstanding.

    I am extremely pleased.

I agree on HBE - Eric does fantastic work. Please allow me to not really hijack by posting pics of the one I recieved a while ago - most comfortable rig I ever used, and easy one handed reholstering.

No problem man, Eric's work is really great, and I think he's way under-rated.

    Eric,

Back in Utah...I have got to order something from you. Just saw one of your holsters first hand and it is truly a work of art..
