my two S&W 28,s, six inch is a N serial number and the four is a S serial number. they look to be in ex condition with a few minor safe marks. I have not fired them.

I've never had a Model 28, but I've got two Model 27-2s and they're fabulous revolvers. I wouldn't mind a 28 for the right price.

I would not take two of the new Rugers or the new production Smith and Wesson revolvers in any caliber in trade for that model 28. There will never be any revolvers built like the Smith and Wessons from that error. That is a great revolver. You did very well.
