Hello all,

This is the first revolver I've ever had. It's a Dan Wesson .357 Magnum. I don't know anything about revolver, let alone the Dan Wesson revolver. Could any one let me know what model the gun is and how much its retailed value in current condition. I've traded my Sig Pro 2022 to get this revolver from an old gentleman in his late 50 and 60.

Welcome to The High Road!

Looks like a model 15 (fixed sights) in fair condition. I see what looks like wear and pitting on the cylinder and barrel shroud. Some of the crud in thge cylinder flutes is probably lead and will come off with some 0000 steel wool and oil. I'd say $300 to $350 for the gun. The undercover walnut grip is nice, but I only use mine with the 2" barrel. The gentleman probably has the target stock for it laying around somewhere.

Your revolver will accept barrels and grips for the DW 15 or 15-2 models.

I prefer to use bronze wool (available through ACE hardware online), but wet the area with oil and rub with fine steel wool. A copper chore boy pad from the grocery store would work too. Just check it with a magnet first to make sure it's not copper-colored steel.

@Sport45 Thanks for the info
@madcratebuilder and @zoom6zoom I like your sets. If you consider to part with it, let me know...LOL

Looks like a Model 14 to me.
Yep, fixed sights = Model 14

I have a Model 14 snubbie that I enjoy the heck out of (and carry quite often).

Great little wheel guns.

That they are!! I've got two M15s (early "Porkchop" model w/ three barrels plus a 15-2 w/ two barrels) as well as a nice Model 22 w/ 2 barrels. :)
