    Just finished this.

Brooks doesn't make a pre-cut one for the SR9 so I made my own out of a sheet of the material. It feels good.

It actually looks better in person... much more black and consistent than the camera flash makes it look.

Now all you need is some fuzzy dice and a "if this this gun is rockin, don't come knockin" sign to hang off the rail.... :neener:

sorry....all that fuzz just reminded me of a 70s' van ... :barf:

If ever a handgun grip needed some wide lapels and a flower in its buttonhole, that's it. :)

J/K-looks much easier to hang on to.

Looks like pool table felt. Your gun, but why not get a Hogue or Pachmyr slip-on?

    You guy's are brutal... :D

If you're not familiar with the material, check it out: http://www.brookstactical.com/

I like the shape of the Ruger grip but the bare polymer doesn't feel right when my hands are cold/dry or sweaty which has been causing some inconsistency with my grip.

This stuff is REALLY thin so it doesn't add significant bulk and I've read some good stuff about it's performance and I ran across a sheet locally so I figured why not give it a shot... if it doesn't work out it peels off clean.

Well Ganderson, if you're going to insist on using that grip tape....then I recommend a pair of these for use with that SR9 at the range or if out to boogie
