My Granddaddy’s pistol

Magtech did a run of .32 S&W recently -- Midway still has some::

I don't get my grandaddy's pistol as it was nowhere to be found when he passed. It was an 1860 army, most likely given to him by my great great grandaddy. It had a broken firing pin and it was decided he probably threw it away as he had no tolerance for broken tools. A Civil War rifle of some kind was also missing and suspected to have gone the same way as the pistol.

Ummmm, ok....

I just used my Google-Fu to look up the pressures.
What I found said 12k for the 32, and 15k for the 32 Long.
Sorry no link, I just googled it and it was the first thing that came up, and that's about the extent of my tech abilities.
I did Google them separately.

Thanks
The thread I linked summarizes the topic very well
There is a difference between wisdom and random information

My Mom gave me my Grandaddy’s H&R 32 S&W revolver for Christmas

Is it indeed H&R marked? Has it a serial number? A late buddy had a bunch of old guns w/o numbers; that was a different time.
Be gentle, parts could be an issue, but it's great you get to shoot it.
