Greeting's All-

Boy, how time flies~!:D Just look'in over my inventory purchased only in
the year of 2005, and I'm amazed at my acquisitions. Here is the list:

a) used Smith & Wesson 37-2
b) NIB Springfield WW-II G.I. (stainless)
c) NIB Browning Buckmark Plus SE
d) used S&W 6906
e) NIB Seecamp LWS-32
f) NIB Kimber Raptor
g) Used Colt AR-15A3 H-BAR Match Target with NIB Bushnell HOLO-sight
h) Used 1971 (2nd series) nickel Colt Detective Special
i) NIB Kimber Stainless Ultra Carry
j) Used 1966 (2nd series) blued Colt Detective Special
k) Used (trade in) S&W 642

Well folks', this added already to a nice collection will 'bout do it for this
year. And I've not made any plans for 2006~!:uhoh: T'was wondering
what you have added to your collection this year?

PS: Not to be interperted as "braging"; I'm just amazed I have spent
so much money.

nice list! your wallet must be smoldering!

I haven't bought too much this year, just an AK clone, and another AR. Been tempted by several handguns, but have resisted the urge, mainly cause MO has this stupid permit thing that just really kills that impulse purchase thing. :fire:

Looks like a good year, but what about this : "b) NIB Springfield WW-II G.I. (stainless)"? A wee bit of an oxymoron, no?:D

For me, the year aint over, yet. But so far I have one new Springfield 1911 and a few new and used rifles. I'm still looking for a series I Kimber to go with my other Kimber and maybe to replace my Springfield. You have one of those lying around?

Series I Kimbers are very difficult to come by~!:( I will keep you in mind
if one comes in on trade.:)

Yep, I like the traditional parkerized Springfield WW-II G.I. the best;
but at the time the stainless guns were hard (and still are) too get 'hold
of.:D

BTW, the "old wallet" is long gone. It went up in a cloud of smoke. The
only thing left is the receipts marked "PAID IN FULL". Now, I just need
some time to shoot these darn thing's.

Let's see... Bersa .380, Heritage .22, and a Yugo Mauser. :) Pretty impressive, though I've gotten rid of a Mossberg 590, a Swede Mauser, and a Marlin 60. :(

I like what I've got, tho--a CX4 Storm in .40 that uses 96 mags might just be next. :p

My original New Year's Resolution for 2005 was to not buy any new guns. Just accessories.

HA! Perhaps for next year I'll pick something a bit more realistic, like getting a black belt in Kung-Fu.

Nice list
they or you hiring !!!!!!! I would like to afford a list like that in one year

1. DPMS M4 w/ Aim Point and ARMS 40L
2. HK USP 40 + new set of Meps
3. Sig P226ST 357 SIG + new set of Trijicons
4. Sig Mosquito
5. PTR-91K
6. Benelli M1 Super90 (Used)
7. NEF Handi Rifle 500 S&W w/ VX III 1.75-6, Dura Coat and Muzzle Break

And plenty of mags, ammo and other accessories for the rest of the collection!

I'm gonna try sneaking another AR in by the end of the year, hopefully one of the Rock River 9mm A3's and another Aim Point CompM2

You got me beat.

a)Kimber Custom II (NIB)
b)Ruger Mini-14
c)Taurus 85 Titanium
d)Ruger Blackhawk .357
e)Springfield XD-9
f)Ruger KP-89
g)Winchester 1300 Defender
h)HK Compact .40
i) ??????? I see a possible Bushmaster in the not so distant future.

PS: Not to be interperted as "braging"; I'm just amazed I have spent
so much money.

After reading my own post, I'm amazed I bought so many Rugers.

How do you like your Kimber Stainless Ultra Carry? How accurate is it?

Wow, you did rather well, I'd say ...

I haven't been spending on guns that last several years. Seldom more than 2-3 in any given year. After I got done buying my Road Star Midnight and "accessorizing it" a couple of years ago, I've been spending more and more of my "disposible" income on cigars, and all of the necessities that go along with them.;)

This year I've only bought a SW99c 9mm, a Colt stainless Government XSE, and my SW1911Sc 5" is on the way.

I'm already thinking about a .500 S&W Magnum 4", and/or a Ruger Alaskan chambered in .454C/.45C ... and maybe another 642-1, used, of course (pre-lock, pre-barrel liner) ... for next year. Well, maybe I might consider one of the M&P Compacts, the next time I recert for one of my S&W armorer's certificates and have a chance to buy one under the armorer's purchase program. Dunno, yet.

Well, I might order a Remington rilfe of some sort, too, since I've got to attend a Remington armorer's course in a few months, and they also offer an armorer's purchase program.

I already need another safe, dammit. :neener:

Well as somebody said, time does fly.

I THINK I only bought two this year (2005 ytd)

Another sks (Couldn't pass it up for $100 still in the box all nice and cosmo'd up

Taurus Tracker 970 .22lr revolver (My first revolver)

Might have bought my 870 this year or last fall - I can't remember.

Up to double digits in gun ownership now - 10.

Hmpf! Thanks to ongoing medical problems and bills to be paid, I sold something like 15 guns this year... no fun at all! However, my "core" battery remains intact, with spares, plus loaners, so I'm still in good shape overall.

I have bought a few guns, particularly in more recent months as my finances stabilized. I've got a VEPR in 5.56mm. on the way at the moment. I picked up a Taurus 24/7 in .45 ACP a couple of months ago, and am upgrading a couple of Saiga 7.62 carbines into full-fledged AK clones with all the trimmings.

However, I find that I'm moving to fewer "wants" in the way of guns. I've assembled a nice, versatile battery that does just about everything I need to do with a firearm, and I rather suspect that in future, I'll be buying guns to replace ones I already own (i.e. that are better suited to me and/or their intended purpose than ones I already have), so I'll be exchanging guns rather than increasing their quantity. This is also cheaper on gunsafes... :D

I will be glad when I get to that point Preacherman, but I got a long ways to go.

This year, I've been fortunate enough to add the following to my stable:

FN Hi Power 9mm
Springfield Mil-Spec .45
NAA Mini-Revolver .22WMR

And if my plans go well, I may get a S&W 60LS Lady Smith .357 for my Birthday (right before the end of the year).

Um~! Not hiring at the moment for gun sales; but fishing would be
a different story:D

Actually, the Kimber Stainless Ultra Carry hasn't been too the range
just yet. I just bought four brand new Wilson mags for this little gun.
Once proven reliable, I probably will move it into the carry rotation.

<sigh>. Only one this year. Plain Jane 1942 vintage M38 Mosin Nagant carbine.

Might have been one more, if Officer Friendly hadn't nailed me in his speed trap going to the gun show last month. :fire:

This has been a rebuilding year for me. After being out of the shooting sports for over ten years it took my stepfather's donating a couple of old guns to me to rekindle my interest.

Mossberg 16 ga Bolt action shotgun, used, donated broken, repaired.
Sears (Higgins) 12 ga pump shotgun, used, donated.
S&W first model new departure, 32 S&W, used, donated.
Ruger 10/22, new.
Taurus model 66 .357, used.
WASR-10, used, modified to my liking.
Hi-Standard double nine .22, used.
Remington 870 express synthetic 12 ga, new.

Of course the year isn't over yet. ;)

This was the year that I really rounded out my collection with some guns I have been considering for some time.

Beretta Centurion DAO .40 S&W
S&W electroless nickel 442 (pre-lock)
S&W 3" 65
