So the problem is feeding the last round. When I had first jam, I separated the mag, maybe just that one mag. Then comes the next mag, it had the same thing. The round was about 3/4" in the chamber, it's always the last round. I had couple other people tried it out, and it did the same thing.
These mags aren't loaded all the time, the gun is stored with the mag unloaded. These are the original two that came with the gun, and the two that came with the free mag promo. I'll be calling S&W on Monday.
Anyone else seen this? This is the M&P 45.

After researching the M&P line, I have heard similar stories with other 45s. It doesnt seem to be a problem with the 40s, 9s or 357s.

I was going to get a M&P 45, but I think I'll wait until they iron out the wrinkles.
this is my sop as well anytime a new gun comes out i give it a year to get the bugs out and then i look into getting one. so far that has worked for me almost 100 percent. i haven't heard of any ossues in the 9mm and .40 models.

Have you contacted S&W or the place you bought it from. Sure sounds like a problem with the mag though.

I've contacted S&W. They're sending mailing label.
The guy said when this happens, what they would do is polish the feed ramp. Seems finicky, sounds like a damn 1911 to me.
Ammo is Winchester 230gr FMJ, which works 100% everytime in my USP45. I probably sell this pistol after it comes back from S&W.

Gudel, you almost took the words out of my mouth.... I was going to say "Get yourself a H&K USP and you don't have to worry about sub-par service....cause you don't need any service dep't....":)

I never had any problems with my HK.
Now that HK has CS on the web, your argument is moot. I'm just about done with non HK brands, I'd like to try the P99 as the last one.
Looking at mp-pistol.com, apparently I'm not the only with this problem.

Give the G21SF a try. I like it just as much as my USP45. I've been holding off on the MP45. Too many reported issues out there. Thanks for the confirming what others has said about the MP45.

Maybe a rare lemon. Store the mags loaded and keep the springs compressed for a bit and then try it. I have had NO problems with my M&P .45 period.
