    looks like the jacks are comming back more now he says hes seeing a lot more:thumbup: this year then ever before

    Congrats..... No Jacks around here but Cottontail rabbit opens Oct. 1st. Rabbit populations run in cycles, some years they are very scarce and other years it seems like millions of 'em. My local cottontail sightings were so-so this year, not scarce but not abundant, either. Might be because I see a lot more foxes last couple of years.

    Awesome shot with a handgun! I have seen more rabbits this year then the past few, unfortunately, I can't find rifle/handgun hunting area, it is all shotgun only for me. The crockpot doesn't seem to mind! Have you tried Shaw's hare stew recipe yet???
