I bought my Springfield XD-9 in March 2011 and I've decided to document its reliability. It appears that THR doesn't let you edit a post after a certain amount of time has passed, so the Total Rounds Fired will be listed at the bottom of the most recent Range Trip/Post.

Good luck getting that thing to fail. I had the same gun in .40S&W, never failed me.

Looks like good shooting to me. I had an xd .40 sc for three years and many range trips, never a hiccup.

Hmm, this might be fun. A good way to personally keep track of whats going on with your gun anyway.

Its been a very busy summer and I've had trouble getting out to the range, but we made a trip yesterday and here are the results. Shot all of my 9s yesterday, and here are the results with the SX-SC.

Great post idea. I'll be interested to see what your results are. I also keep a round count on all my guns (including ammo type. etc). So far I'm on 225 rds through my XD45 Compact. I've only had one sort-of malfunction, a FTF which was definitely an ammo problem (I had a JHP round that had failed to feed in my 1911 which had become deformed when the 1911 slide closed). I know it was probably stupid to even try it but it FTF intitially but on the second try chambered and fired no problem. So I count it as no malfunctions so far (certainly none that couldn't have been avoided by not using out of spec ammo).
