You might change your mind about that when you're 75 years old with arthritis in your wrist and tendonitis in your elbow.I told myself it would be useful as it has a 9mm cylinder, but after shooting a box of 357 there was no going back.
I've got the same gun (never been fired) Do you lose much accuracy with the 9mm cylinder?Nice choice!Congratulations!
If you haven’t tried 9mm yet you should.
You may be surprised how much you like it.
Please heed my advice on this. Find a way to differentiate between the cylinders or one day you’ll hit the range with ammo for the wrong cylinder in your gun.
Guess how I know…
I have a Ruger New Vaquero .45 Colt. I had a .45 ACP cylinder made for it by Ruger. The .45 ACP cylinder looks just like the .45 Colt cylinder.
I now keep the .45 ACP cylinder in a cloth bag and leave the .45 Colt cylinder in the gun. If I want to shoot .45 ACP I take the gun, the ammo and the bag with the ACP cylinder to the range. I swap cylinders as soon as I am done shooting.
The real kicker is my gun is more accurate with Mil-Spec .45 ACP that with my .45 Colt hand loads. Haha
Yes I think shooting with the 9mm cylinder is less accurate, and it's a real damp squid compared to 357 mag. 357 is a very nice round in this revolver, it's just perfect. It's better than 38 special, and far better than 9mm.I've got the same gun (never been fired) Do you lose much accuracy with the 9mm cylinder?
I would be very surprised if they are not interchangeable.Anybody know if you can pop a 9mm cylinder in any .357 Blackhawk, or does it have to be a convertible model or fitted or something?
I hate using 9mm in this revolver.Nice choice!Congratulations!

Only 6 years to go.You might change your mind about that when you're 75 years old with arthritis in your wrist and tendonitis in your elbow.![]()
You might get lucky, but then you might not. If the cylinder doesn’t line up you could be hurt or gawd forbid, you might hurt the revolver…I think I have that backwards.Anybody know if you can pop a 9mm cylinder in any .357 Blackhawk, or does it have to be a convertible model or fitted or something?
I have both revolvers and semi-autos, it is fair to ask how good is a semi-auto without a magazine? It would be a very slow single shot at best.I usually prefer automatics but I just could not resist this Blackhawk
