I had the chance to catch up with my old high school friend Mark(mrtgbnkr) and he took me shooting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Schwing!
I've never shot at an indoor range, never shot a .40 semi. I did both with Mark. WAY TOO COOL!
Here's my "take home" target-
The three that missed the "head" were shots 11,12,13. My Mother pointed out I missed. My comment was "A) They weren't the first three. B) It's been HOW many years since I TOUCHED a gun? and C) I'm pretty much thinking that if I'm shooting at someone and I miss, they aren't going to think 'Oh, she MISSED.' but "Holy cow! Crazy woman is SHOOTING at me!' So thpppt on the missed ones, Mom!"

Mark was a lot more consistent with his shots-they really tore up the paper but good. I think I did all right for no shooting in the last 11 years. Didn't miss the paper once! But, Mark is a LOT better with that sweet little piece!
It was the MOST incredible day! I haven't been shooting with a handgun in 11 years, and that was my husband's Ruger Vaquero .45 LC. I haven't shot a semi-automatic in 14 years-my ex-husband's Glock 9mm. I have this marvelous blister from the rub of the gun. I got to play with some hand guns at the range and I think I found the semi-automatic I want-a kahr Arms K9. It felt so smooth and HEAVY. LOve it, love it. My darling husband said "What Momma wants. Momma gets."
Thanks so much Mark for such an awesome day! When do we start "Atlas Shrugged??!!"
