I just took delivery on my full size in.45acp and took it to the range 2 days ago. I fed it 150rds of mixed wwb and blazer brass and the gun functioned perfectly. After shooting about 2 mags worth of ammo to get used to the trigger, I was able to keep my groupings very tight. I have been a long time P220 owner, but I love this gun so much that it is my new carry gun. I plan to get the 3 other calibers and experiment with modding a full size gripframe to accept a compact slide.
I am also going to purchase a few extra FCU's to keep as spares in case Sig stops making them.
I feel that this is one of the most innovative designs in a long time.

Good to hear. I'm thinking about one myself. The P250 in .45ACP seems to be a great value that's priced much lower than the competition's polymer offerings. In fact, no decent .45ACP comes even close.

I'd like an upgrade over my Sigma and the entry level Sigs look really good for the money. I have shot a buddy's P220 and wow, I wish I had the funds to go that route. Very nice trigger and very accurate.
I'm assuming the P250 has a better trigger than the Sigma. I like the 2022 as well. Do you know how it compares to the P250? I know it has single action as well. Does the P250 have a mechanical safety or is it like the Glocks and Sigmas?

They both seem like a great bargain.

Thanks.

It's too expensive IMO for the caliber/size change kits. If it wasn't, it would sell better and even better if it was DA/SA.

I have the compact version in .45 ACP, and I love the little thing. No failures, extremely comfortable grip for me, and it feels solid. I'll probably get the compact 9mm kit.

I’ve heard a lot of people give the 250 a hard time. I have a full size 250 in .45 and I like it. It has made me a much better pistol shot. I had a pretty bad forward rotation that was not very noticeable shooting Glocks, but the 250 would tell on me big time. It made me focus on steady, strait trigger pull.

I think I paid a little less than $400 shipped w/ 2 mags, a Sig holster (crap) and a Sig dbl mag holder.

Does anyone know if a fullsize slide will fit a compact frame?

For 40 bucks, you could have a full size slide fit a compact frame, just modify a grip module.

I have the full-size .45 as well and it a very reliable accurate gun. I just can't get used to that long trigger, although its very smooth. I actually have mine up for sale and not quite sure I want to get rid of it.
