My wallet's lament

I had the day off from work today so I decided to make a trip to the range. On my way there I decided to stop at my local gun shop for some ammo and what should I see, but a Inland M1 Carbine with a bright bore and solid stock for $500. Oh be still my beating heart she was a beauty. Only that a quick inspection of my finances led me to the conclusion that she was out of reach.

So I grudgingly picked up a brick of .22LR and a box of Prvi for the Swede and watched that old girl go home with another loving owner...

You win some, you loose some.

Dang man, sorry - well good deals will come around again. I for one think the recession is far from over and good prices will remain well into 2010, so you may get another chance when the wallet is fuller.
