So far there is NOTHING and NO WAY to do this.

Just as there was and is NO WAY to do a NICS check to buy ammo in NYS.

SO, that got shelved until ----- ?.

There is NO FUNDING and no way to do this reregistering = guess its gonna get put on the same shelf ?.
 
I am not surprised NY passed a law with no means of complying.

Here in PA we are a required to renew our LTCF every 5 years but that can be done at the Sheriff's office of your county. Some counties actually send a reminder in the mail with the renewal form prior to your license expiring.
 
So no way to renew your gun license, but the same Democrat governor has no problem letting a convicted cop killer walk out of prison. This is starting to remind me of the line The Joker used in the 1989 Batman, "Decent people shouldn't live here." That is the way these people think.
 
The Liberal officials are opposed to profiling known criminals illegally carrying firearms. To stop and search these known felons is a violation of their rights.
A citizen cleared by the police and FBI must be considered a latent danger to society? :uhoh:
 
I have to hand it to NY. They can really take the Bill of Rights and wipe their behinds with it. And laugh all the way getting away with it. NY permits have always been for life. They never expired. IF, big IF, you got one. Never had to worry about renewal IF you got one. Then they come along, pass one feel good law that will do NOTHING, and make thousands reapply for a permit they already have with no way of completing it. Backdoor way of denying rights to thousands if not millions of people. I am from NY and I never claim it as my home state. Whole place can burn to the ground as far as I am concerned.
 
NY Pistol permit to own and keep handgun in your house or take to the range and shoot was always for life until revoked. In any Counties (not the five NYC Burroughs) ,Concealed carry permit could expire in one to three years and need renewal ($$$$$) or re-certification. Easy to accomplish with a check properly offered for $1000 to local judge's reelection campaign. As Batman said" decent people don't live there." I left in 1975 and NEVER looked back,
 
Let me see. Gun owners have to renew their permits or have their guns confiscated, but there will be no way to renew the permits, so all guns will be confiscated.

Could the governor have done that deliberately? Of course not. No. Never. (Of course he would.)

At the same time the Gov. of New York plans to release the killer of 3 NY Police officers. The Judge with the facts before him in 1981 sentenced the then Black Terrorist to 75 years to life.
This was played as a gun crime 33 years ago. These phony liberals built their careers on lies and deceit. The Gullible Sheep keep them in office.:thumbdown:
