I recieved a Navy Arms and ordered over shot and over powder wads from Midway, .5" cushion wads, some thompson center shot cups, and some lightfield commander 1-1/16 oz. slugs. I intend to start with the pyrodex that I have on hand and measure 80 gr. by volume, and over powder wad, cushioned wad, equal volume of #6 shot, and over shot card, a #11 persussion cap and hopefully boom, (not KaBoom i.e. off with your fingers) The gun is in new and unfired condition and is made by an Italian firm that still offers the gun thru Cabela's. I was able to get a copy of the operating manual and it is sketchy. Who has experience with this gun. I intend to load a buckshot load in the tight barrel, and the slug in the more open barrel. The left barrel is just under .7 and the right barrel is just over .7" ID at the muzzle. There are no screw in chokes so it must be a 70 or 80s manufacturer. Response is greatly appreciated. I would like to try doves on memorial day, and muzzle loader deer season in October. Bill

I have a bit of experience with it. I also own a Pedersoli 12 ga double and a CVA 12 ga double. My Navy Arms 12 ga db was manufactured by Pietta in 1984. Both muzzles mike out and pattern to 12 ga improved cylinder (0.719"). I shoot 90 gr ffg real black under a nitro card, .5" cushion wad, 1 1/4 #6 or #4 shot.
