At least the criminals are getting smarter: They can do their shopping via MTV's Cribs rather than having to actually go peep in windows.

I'm surprised their little mansions aren't very well defended.

No surprise that the Bad Guys are targeting Pro Athletes..

The lowest paid NBA guys get what $200,000 per season? (IIRC, major league baseball & NFL minimum is $275K/year)

And in the City of Chikago, well......we know how well RKBA is allowed there.

    Let's see ...

Make 7 to 8 figures a year, have a lot of high-end custom "bling" on display all the time, build a mega mansion and have it featured on TV every chance you get? Live a pseudo gangsta lifestyle making the round of clubs till dawn a few nights every week talking it all up.

Why in heaven's name would a couple of genuine thugs target you and your home?

It's lucky all around that there hasn't been anyone seriously injured ... so far.
