It shows his wry humor

He did it on purpose and made it look like an "accident"
The next time you see someone with a glass of water in their hands, ask them the time!
heheheh.

Ya know, I hate to think the press is any worse than it's ever been. I was a kid of 10 when Pres. Kennedy got assassinated. At that time I did not know of his extracurricular activities. I am just wondering if these yokels, um, "journalists" gave him the same treatment as Dubya? Think not, but I was really too young to catch nuances, double entendres, etc. :banghead:

. . . is it a law that the media must show a standing POTUS in the worst light . . .
Only if he's a Republican. If he's a Democrat, editorial judgement kicks in, determines it's not news, and there's no story.

It sounds more like an inane reporter trying to fill in some "color" than bad intent. Not everything the press does is part of an agenda -- a lot of it is just stupidity. Believe me: I've worked in newsrooms. (Then again, don't ever let anyone say that blatant agendas do not exist. They do. I've witnessed them first hand. I've had a liberal reporter actually say that she thought it her job (her mission) to help shape the "proper" opinions of society. I've seen a conservative reporter go out of her way to write negative news about a liberal government official.)

Just like when they made a big hoopla when he choked on that pretzel. People are people and the pres is people.

5, 4, 3, 2, 1

Counting down to see how long before Teddy Kennedy calls for an independent investigation of the failed President wasting our natural resources and Hillary seconds his proposal.

Then 5 minutes later someone, probably James Carville, from the Clinton administration appears on TV talking about how Ken Starr can not lead this investigation into "Waterglass-gate" because he is tainted by the scandal of the impeachment.

"Is it just that slow a news day or is it a law that the media must show a standing
POTUS in the worst light possible?"

I'll let you know after I've seen it in super-slo-mo a few hundred times.
