Couldn't vote

Much as I wanted to, I couldn't vote. I couldn't vote for it since I completely disagree with the cost. I am okay with paying a fair price associated with the administrative costs of applying for and receiving a permit. But it doesn't cost that much. So unless you fellas would get state-sponsored training out of it....

That being said, I also couldn't bring myself to vote against it for fear that such a vote be misconstrued as a vote against CCW in general.

And obviously the other 2 options don't apply.

We've already got one state Senator contending that property taxes will go up if the bill passes, even with the $100 app fee.

I can live with $20/year.

Do his initials happen to be "E.C."?

You want to see something hilareous, check out the proposed ammendments to it.

Boy I wish you luck. Im originally from Omaha, but havent been back for 13years.When I got my ccw here and checked on the laws in Nebraska I was really surprised at the anti gun laws still back there.Hopefully someone can pass a concealed carry law back there, and it would honor other states ccws also.

No he didn't say that. He's been up to his usual stalling tactics with various procedural manuevers and threats. Seems everyone is scared of him.

Done. Good luck Nebraska. Wisconsin is fighting the good fight as well. You guys helped us with our poles, responding to editorials...etc... it's the least I could do.
