Okay, first off I'm only using the Lee Classic Loader for the 7.62X54R because it was a B-day present & that I haven't gotten around to get a full dies set yet but any way.

Been loading my Privi Brass with 49gr. H414 & 180gr. Speer .311 RNSP for a bit & noticed last night that on a few of my cases I load the projectile to level & check the loaded cartridge & can simply twist & push the projectile into the case, I'm not talking gorilla grip either..
These are once fired brass in my own rifle from my own loads, cleaned them with finger nail polish remover on the outside & ran them through the process as normal but I had 6 out of 20 rounds do this.

Thoughts?

Classic Lee Loader- Case neck not tight enough on the bullet

It is possible to tighten up the neck on a case by simply driving the case a little deeper into the resizing die. Take a dowel that is no larger in diameter than the rim of the cartridge, and drive the case into the die just below flush. This will further reduce the case mouth diameter and hold your bullets a little tighter.

There may be a variation in how tight bullets are held in place. This is due to the case being sized from the outside of the case. If the case has a thin wall, the inside diameter ends up being a little larger, than if the case has a thick wall. Sort your cases, and resize accordingly.

different neck thicknesses will give different inside diameters. neck sizing dies size the neck smaller than necessary, then use an expander ball to bring the i.d. of the neck up to a specific (and consistent) diameter. your classic set will only size the neck down to a specific o.d.. so, different neck thicknesses give different i.d.s and ,therefore, different neck tensions.
