Need a little help 222.5

Hey I'm new to this forum and was hoping someone could help me out?
Does anyone have any idea what a 222.5 is it's stamped on a custom benchrest rifle. Shilen DGA action shilen barrel.

It's some goofy old school benchrest chambering that's halfway between a .222 and a .222 Rem Mag. They run a .222 reamer in too deep for a .222, then form cases by setting back the shoulder on .222 mag brass. It ends up as a case with a bit more capacity than a .222 with a really long neck.

If you didn't get dies with the rifle, along with detailed loading instructions, the safe bet would be to rebarrel the thing.

Have you had any luck with your search. I've inherited a Shilen 222.5 and are having the same problem
