For the purpose of converting anti's, I need a website that shows good, easily viewed and understood statistics which show worldwide evidence of gun control causing crime. This data preferably should be from a source thats neutral on the subject, because anti's love to call the crap that rolls out of the brady bunch irrefutable fact while saying the NRA is composed of liars. Pro gun sources will work too, as long as its legit info.

    Any help would be appreciated.

www.guncite.com is a good place to start...

I'm personally not aware of any statistics that prove that "gun control causes crime", sorry. Studies by the NAS and CDC have stated that gun control doesn't have any effect on crime. John Lott is the only person I know of that presents statistics to prove that more guns cause less crime, but not the other way around.

    Good luck.

Good "Gun Control" statistics are a myth.

In a strange way, the Brady campaign actually shows some good evidence against their cause by grading each state. The better the grade, the higher the crime. That is a good statistic if such a thing exists, but I am looking for more world wide evidence.

I'm starting to think that pros and antis are like religious believers - you get the occasional walk-over convert but you won't easily change anyone's viewpoint.

Won't stop me trying, though :D
