If you are set with only using a local outfit, you'll probably need to find an industrial hard chrome shop that'll work on firearms. Make sure you are getting hard chrome and not chrome plate -big difference here.

If you are willing to ship out of state, there are several reputable shops that specialize in hard chroming guns, either satin or polished. Of all of them, I'd personally recommend Ford's.

Metaloy also has a great 'rep.

Robar's NP3 is hard chrome with a small percent of
    teflon - it's a very tough finish.

THanks guys, I talked to a buddy, he said that there is a place local, but they only do Non hard chrome... and its not that great....

I guess I will ship it out, I would love to ship it to the sites noted above, however... That is pricey!!! there are a few places on the interweb that are about $100 cheaper, and its still hard chrome.... I have a hard time paying that much with my shoestring budget...

Oh, yeah, its a Semi-compact Baby Eagle 9mm... my uncle in law just did some Awesome rose wood grips for it... I have 4 pistols, and 5 rifles... out of all of them, the only rust issues I ever have is with the BE. It might be bad metal, or who knows, but if I handle it and let it sit for about 3hrs, there is surface rust on it. None of my others do that, even with a light coat of CLP or RemOil... So I think some kind of hard chrome would do the trick....

I have hunted for refinishers in W WA in order to not ship and it's not easy to find. The only place I have had recommended is Greene's in Oak Harbor. Don't know if they do hard chrome or not, they do blue though. They have a good reputation from several WA people.
