I came across a .22 today at a gun show. The guy behind the booth new nothing about it, but had it for sale for $200. I didn't take up on it because I have enough .22s but it sure sparked some interest. He had part of a copy of the advertisement and it was priced for $14.95 along with an e-mail somewhat describing it. IIRC, it may have been a Mauser or Melvin Johnson design originally? I do remember the company bought the rights to it and the company was owned by a guy in the U.S. and after he died the company shut down. Other than that, I don't remember anything else. The link is the is the closest to what it looks like I can find. Hopefully, my curiosity won't lead me to shooting myself in the foot for not getting it...

Iver Johnson was the importer, "US Carbine cal .22lr". have seen them asking $300+ but parts available is iffy and a 15 round magazine is going for $85.
