    Title says it. Case is slightly shorter then 7,62x54R. Found it at the range, just wondering what it is.

    Looks rimless, right?

    7.62MM = 7.62x51 NATO = .308 Win (More or less.)

    89 = year made

    nny (Or as close as I can get to the actual Cyrillic characters without a lot of fooling around with my computer.)
    = headstamp of the Yugoslavian maker of ammunition sold here at the time by Hansen.

    Yep, Yugoslav; before they were picked up by Hansen, that ammo was sold under the "Privi Partizan" brand.

    Coo, thanks! I figured it was .308, but the manufacturer was eluding me. Didn;t think that the com-block made NATO ammo, but I guess I learn something every day.

    The Cyrillic "nn" = Roman "PP" I don't recall off the top of my head what the "y" is. Been too long since I played around with Russian.

    I have cases with this headstamp in .45 ACP and .30 Carbine.
