Hello to all..I recently purchased some parts/re builder from hunters Lodge....without bashing anyone} I got the parts needed from an independent for rebuilding this historic weapon. A plus is the upper is a 1920 rework with a Luger Barrel chambered for the Luger 30. I have searched all the web and blogs searching for information on checking head-space for this basically originally hand assembled weapon with no luck. There was mention on one blog of the difficulty with the head-space for the 30 Luger round, but no specifics ..... I know the principles of head-spacing and have read that this weapon head-spaces on the shoulder of the cartridge. Can anyone direct me further........secondly .... am looking for the muzzle band with sight from a junk Luger barrel or equivalent ...
