I'm going to do a lolcat.
    http://icanhascheezburger.com/

In the vein of "I can has cheezburger?"

    My caption will be...

    "I can has rifle?"

"If you have to get permission,
are you a citizen or a serf?"

If anybody has a pic of a cat with a handgun, I can do that too.

The horrible "homeboy" spelling on the site is a real detractor to otherwise interesting photos.

LOL Cannonball! That's not exactly what I had in mind.

    Maybe I should use Kalishnikitty?

    armoredman-

thats not the homeboy spelling :)

they are called 'cat macros' and it kinda has developed its own language- its more Leet speak (l33t sp3ak) which is internet jargon.

an example would be PWNZ. that went from 'owned' which used to be used in online gaming when you 'fragged' or killed another player- you 'owned' them. then it went to own, then pwn, then pwnd or pwnz- depending on tense

thats not the exact origin, thats just how i saw it develop. other things like it would be

ROFL, (roll on floor laughing) OMG ( Oh my G-d) and things of that nature.

the cheeseburger (or cheezeburger) is unique to cat macros, that and a lot of OH NOS I HAS BEEN DEFEATSED BY PETTINGS!

I wouldn't be surprised if it was a throw back to making fun of the old "All your base, are belong to us" thing.

I think the writing is supposed to resemble what a cat would speak like.. if it spoke. I'm not sure.

Exactly...nothing to do with homeboy speak. Hint: cat's probably have poor grammar and spelling. Normally a huge pet peeve. but hilarious in these pics.

BTW, OP, "I can has rifle" isn't cute enough. I don't have a suggestion, unfortunately, but I'll bet someone here does.

Or as a lolcat would say:

Do a lot of homeboys say, "I can has cheezburger" or make funny gestures and say "Invisible Bike"? I'm afraid my experience with internet memes far exceeds my experience with homeboys and their desire for hot ground beef based sandwiches topped with cheese.

    Your Google-Fu is weak.
Okay, so it's only a handgun, but you could certainly do the same sorta thing.

After some more though, perhaps it would be more to the point if the cat was standing in front of the police chief's desk asking permission for a handgun?

Literal translation: OMG Jorg is teh ultimate pwnage
notes: OMG = Oh My God
teh = intentional misspelling of the
    pwn = own

English: Wow Jorg, I sure do think your a swell guy.
Or in this context: Holy Cow! Jorg just won the argument with that comment he made,

Lolcats are supposed to be '3 year old speak' not leetspeak, homeboy speak, geekspeak or anything else.

    1. Lolcats really do make me laugh out loud a lot. i dont know why, but i think having a cat makes them a Lot funnier.

    2. I hate leet. though i have no formal training, my young internet-grown mind can roughly translate it. i really hate how many internet fads i know about. i swear i'm not a nerd....

oh well, i can be nerd, i has gun. choose your next words carefully.

    :D
