I am supposed to be going to pick one up this weekend (S&W model 58 .41 mag old model) and I was wondering if anybody knew the value of one I know I am getting it at a good price but I probably wont keep it, it will probably go on the classifieds here. It is in great shape has the usual wear mark on the end of the barrel but not very bad at all it was never a police gun or anything and a little wear on the cylinder but the blue is great and it has the big "target" grips I guess is what they are called, its the big wooden ones, maybe original but not sure though.

Any help would be appreciated thanks guys. I will answer any questions best i can to assist.

    Probably around $650-700.
The original grips are missing and they usually run around $150 to replace.

The original grips were the skinny walnut service grips
