Um.. as far as I'm aware, there is currently no such thing as a Ruger P99 .. not in .45 or any other caliber.

There is however a ruger P90/P97, both are .45 Auto. One of those should be $385 - $400. A decock only model might be around $415.

    Thanks

So 125 for a used but well taken care of gun would be a good price.
The gun shows no visible sign of wear. The guy just wants to sell it to get another handgun.

125 is either a fantastic deal or something's wrong with the gun. Make sure you can get a 3-day inspection period or somesuch.

$125 for a Ruger is very fair especially if it's in good shape...inspect it well before you put your $$ on the counter ;)

$125 for a Ruger P90 is a gift or its stolen. How well do you know this guy? Make sure you get a receipt or bill of sale.

Used "like new" P90's usually run over $300 and some well worn ones I've seen where selling for $275.

    thanks

I have known the guy for about 6 months and he does not seem to have any ill intetions. He has shown me the reciept for the orginal purchase. It was from a dealer up in nor cali. His reason to sell is he saw my steyer m-40 and wanted a new one. His wife told him he had to sell one to buy another one so he is cutting me a deal.
thanks to all for the info
