Need stong key chain "ring" for sling where to buy?

I've got a sig 556 and a magpul ms3 sling. The rear attachment loop is not big enough for the ms3 clip. I need a key chain type of ring on there to make it work. Anyone make such a thing? I need it to be strong. Don't want to drop the gun! Not will to have my spendy registered SBR hanging from a Walmart keyring.

About any hardware store key departemnt should have heavy duty spring steel split-rings you could lift an anvil with.
