Need to know ID marks for Siamese 45-70 Mauser

    Is there anything on the exterior of these that would definitely ID them as 45-70? Muzzle pic? Thanks in advance!

    Shouldn't be too hard to tell; the originals are 8mm and the .45-70 is over 11mm. Big visual difference.

    Any rechambering should be marked on barrel as to cartridge. It was never chambered in that for Siam aka Thailand. Navy arms was one company that did them and shade tree conversions were made by individuals in several different rimmed cartridges.

    739054-68c64a5466606cb7fba7ef527ac23729.jpg SM data sheet pg 1.jpg SM data sheet pg 2.jpg here is mine is your in the original wood or a sporter i could be other calibers to need some pics there are some thing to help date the gun use letters from on top the rear bridge if they are still there. if its a navy arms there is a date under the woos on the barrel shouls say navy arms on the right side on the barrel or a gibbs rifle.
