Never know what you’re going to find

My favorite thing you've found so far is still the body bag.

Too funny. I told my girlfriend about that one and she just burst out laughing.

This has got to be one of the most interesting threads I've ever seen on THR. Gunny, you've inspired me to start going through and clean up my gun room as well. Mine should go significantly quicker, but I doubt I'll stumble onto so much cool stuff!

Thank you for your generosity in sharing your knowledge, wit, and experiences with us.

Look what we started. Now we’lol have more folks cleaning up and getting organized!

Sorry about not adding to the post lately, been pretty busy at work and Christmas shopping.
When I got up this morning l was feeling pretty good so, I put some coffee on and went into the shop. I really didn’t feel like messing with the six foot bench, then I heard a little voice coming from the far right side of my eight foot bench. It was calling to me for help.

Now the hunt was on for what was calling out to me.
Boy is that a mess.

I’m pretty sure that it was the Waffle House coffee cup that was calling but while I was there I decided to clean up a little.
The first thing I found was something I picked up three or four years ago.

I’ll post some more a little later today. I have to pickup the parts to finish of my daughter’s rifle.

Those books are cool.
You should find a nice way to frame them and display them on your walls!

What is your daughter getting? Another purple AR?

I am fairly certain the pleas came from the poor little Dremmel. His collet is cold and he can't reach the flexible shaft that sits dangerously close to the edge of the bench. Poor little guy.:)

Uh, oh. Did you check under the bench?

I got that Dremmel tool from a pawn shop a while back. It still works but needs new brushes.
I think I only paid $15 for it. I have four or five more dremmel tools. The two on the six foot bench get used the most.
That flexible shaft has a broken cable and doesn’t work.

Been thinking about what to do with those manuals, I have more.

My daughter wanted more purple on her AR. I dropped off the rail yesterday and just got home with it. Took about 15 minuets to finish it up.

Those old ammunition booklets remind me of the the ones my Dad picked up when he was a kid. He dreamed of having a Winchester or Remington .22 target rifle. Unfortunately this was during the Great Depression and all he had to hunt rabbits with was a borrowed German made .22 single shot rifle. After getting back home following WWII he no longer had much interest in hunting or guns for that matter. But he still enjoyed being outdoors and fishing and use to drive up to Canada with some co-workers of his to go fishing every October.

Love the Ruger manuals; I had a lot of those guns including the Mk.II .22 and the Single Six and Bisley, both in .32 H&R Magnum!
