I will be ordering a SIG factory 10mm barrel for my .357 Sig.

I think the cartridge might be a bit long for the action.

Thats why the original intent to have the SIG 320 interchangeable between 9mm, .40, and .45ACP never came to fruition. I’d think the X Ten would require a lengthened FCU

I heard something to the effect that the P320 X-Ten FCU can be used with other calibers, but the P320 FCU cannot be used for 10 mm.

That would make complete sense if they are using a lengthened FCU

Well on research apparently the P 220 is the only one of the series which has sufficient length to handle the 10 mm. The P320 series is easier to mod for a longer cartridge.

Isn't there also either an Armscor or Tisa 1911 in 10mm out, too?

A 220 in SAO chambered in 10mm would be sweet

I'm not usually a first adopter/beta tester. But my LGS has already told me first one was mine.

    SIG, please take my money!

Well actually, the way the P320 and P365 roll-outs / recalls went down, I'm gonna wait awhile until SIG addresses all the 10mm issues...but then they can take my money!

I'd wait for the Wilson Combat tuned P320 10 if such a thing ever happens.

If they do one in the metal AXG frame I'd consider it

I am very interested. I am going to stay tuned to see what variations they offer. SIG usually has a whole host of options for each line. Something to compete with the Glock model 40 (long slide 10mm) would be very intriguing. Additionally, AXG or tungsten 10mm grips would also be an interesting prospect. I’d buy the P320 X10 now, but I just know that if I do, SIG will offer a new flavor of it immediately after and I’ll be kicking myself for not being patient. Haha.

Well a major new offering in 10mm probably does indicate the cartridge is getting more popular. I love my 10mm and am very glad I got into the cartridge.

I'll be watching to see what other variants they make. I imagine the extended slide optics ready competition offering we can eventually expect will be pretty impressive. I love my glock 20 but a p320xl or something might be more tempting than a glock 40.

I completely agree. I like Glocks, but I find their triggers lacking (they’re not bad, just not great) in comparison to other striker-fired offerings (Walther, Canik, and SIG). If a major manufacturer can offer the G40 robustness, mag capacity, and reliability/durability, but with a better trigger, I will be very interested. My gut tells me that SIG has the best chance of doing that.

What’s the price tag for something like that?

I don't like the front heavy feel of my G40, although it does compensate for muzzle flip from the G20. I found my RIA ultra 1911 better balanced, but I wish I could shoot it better...
Hands down the best feeling pistol if ever shot is a SIG P220 4.5? (.75) in .45 ACP that my buddy let me shoot..
I was unimpressed the the 320 9mm in my limited time with it the owner raves about it.. However, I would give it a go in 10mm.
