Yesterday, I bought a new Taurus Model 85TB2C, Total Titanium .38 Special. It's really cool! I can't wait to shoot it. I saw it at a gun show and I had to have it.

I bought a Glock 30 about a year-and-a-half ago so that I would have something small enough to conceal, but I found it was almost as hard to conceal as a full size Glock. Don't get me wrong, I love my Glock 30, it shoots like a dream, but I just can't hid it in the summertime. I've have smaller caliber pistols, such as the .32 ACP Guardian, and Kel Tec P32, but I decided against such a small caliber. 38 Special is as low as I wish to go now for personal defense. So when I saw the Taurus just sitting there saying "buy me, buy me", I just couldn't resist. I bought an inside the pants holster for this little gem and it is really easy to conceal.

Buy the way, the guy sold it to me for $399 w/o tax. I've seen these titanium revolvers before for as much as $429 or $439. Have they gone down in price? And if they have, did I get as good a price as I think I did?

I used to have a Taurus Model 85SS2UL Ultra Lite, but I let my wife carry it. When she divorced me earlier this year, I let her keep it. I never shot it much anyway.

Greeting's Again Rebeldon-

Glad to see ya' back on the forums!:) Looks to me like
the price of your new Taurus model 85 was kind'a on
the high side; as two of my co-workers just purchased
NIB Taurus model 605 .357 maggie's; and if memory
serves me correctly I believe that they stated they only
gave $289.95 out-the door, for those guns.:uhoh:

I'm sure if you were still here in The Heart Of Old Dixie-
Land, them good ole' boys down at Simmons would
have beat the price you paid!:D

At any rate, take care and shoot straight. Most of all
stay safe!

Best Wishes,

Well, by comparison........ I am ''slumming'' it, with my std M85 ... but as a piece I like it a lot .... as I'm sure you'll like the TB2C ...... I find the M85 suits my summer carry pretty well.
