Was finally able to find a 44-40 lever gun at a recent gun show after searching for about 3 months. It is a Navy Arms M 73 with a 24" oct. barrel.

Got to the range yesterday and put 30 rounds of my reloads thru it. It shot real nice but had a few problems with feeding. Sometimes the rounds would be misalligned in the bottom of the carrier and this would jam the mechanism. It seemed to happen with Rem. brass, not Hornady, Win. or Starline. I'm going to try again but confine the Rem. brass to my sixgun. WB
