Just put this together today. My initial goal was to build a light weight rifle since my other AR has a super bull barrel and is pretty heavy. But, as you can see, I ended up with it being just a tad lighter than my other gun, but I'm more than happy with it.

RRA Elite Operator Upper
LRB Lower
PSA LPK
MOE Grip and trigger guard
Burris Yac39 w/ PEPR quick detachable mount

Nice Rig! When you mentioned a light weight rifle I took one look and thought "RRA rifles are not light" - great shooters though. I took a real hard look at the RRA for myself but I found that it felt muzzle heavy to me and I ended up building my own using a "pencil" barrel and keeping extras to a minimum. Looks like your rifle will make a great all-around AR. Let us know how it shoots!

Nice looking build. It doesn't take much for the weight to start adding up on these.

My 14.5 carbine with the optic is not what I would call light, but not really heavy either.

My 'light' build needed a tax stamp but was worth it, it meets 'light' requirements.

Thanks guys. I can't wait to put some rounds through it.

Madcratebuilder.....very nice rifles. I've been seeing quite a bit of the rifles with the 1911 style grips. How do you like them?
