New Browning Buckmark

Well after reading all the posts here at THR I finally broke down and bought a Buckmark with the Stainless Steel Barrel (5"), primarily because I couldn't find a Ruger MKIII in 22/45. Thank God I did, that Browning has now had 200 rounds thru it and the trigger is so sweeeet, not to mention the grip. Cost me $405.00 out the door. Bass Pro-Shops had 2 for $379.99. Not too bad.

Also I just found in a green military 30 caliber metal ammo can with about 1500 or more .22 rim fire ammo I had stashed away several years ago and forgot about. Talk about lucky!

I've got a Ruger MKI that is a sweet shooter also, but I like the Buckmark because of the mag drop on the left side of the grip, and also the feel of the Buckmark's grip.

I've been shooting right at 3" groups off hand at 25 yards once I got the sights dialed in. Out of the box it was shooting about 4" high and 4" to the right taking in the center of the group.

If you like the trigger now.. google "Heggis Flip" and give that a try.

I love my buckmark, it is the easiest to shoot and most accurate pistol I own. Mine started out as a camper but I replaced the barrel with a tactical solutions threaded 4" for my suppressor.

Good friend of mine has a Buckmark...nice pistol. I had just about lost interest in rimfires until I gave my pristine 3rd gen Woodsman Target to my youngest son.

Next day, I found a Ruger Mark III 22/45 with rails top and bottom and threaded barrel and snapped it up. Already bought a can, and trust that the stamp will come in in late June or so.

41Mag, just tried lightening the trigger pull via the Heggis Flip method, it worked too good, so I put the spring back in the other way (factory).

According to my RCBS trigger gauge, it was breaking at under 1#, with the spring back in like where it belongs, it is slightly over 2#s which is where I perfer it.

Thanks any way on the heads up google, don't know if you don't try it. BTW it was an easy project, just don't care for that light a trigger pull, as I'm used to resetting the trigger after every shot, don't need the firearm to shoot until I'm ready.

I was amazed at how accurate my little Buckmark Camper is. Not to get into an udder-swinging contest, but I have managed hits on steel standing, off-hand, at 200 yards. Not a lot of hits, but solid hits nonetheless.The misses were mighty close too. Enjoy your new Buckmark!
