On the box it said 2013 configuration. I had heard the newer ones were coming with a CS prefix instead of the LE. This one had the LE prefix I wanted and everything is stamped with a C. Had enough grease and oil on it to make a old mosin nagant look good.
Came with the quad rail which I wanted also.
Cleaned her up and threw on my eotech and might head to the range later in the week.

All you need is an ambi for the perfect M-4gery. Very nice rifle.
I have a BCM Ambi charging handle and a NiB BCG I’m going to use. Want to try it with stock parts first then I’ll clean them up then swap them out. Still got to get me a Mbus for the rear, thought I had one but can’t find it.

You didn’t say what a “good deal” was. Spill it!
I got this one for 849, Plus tax. The FFL where it was picked up don’t charge a transfer fee.
GunPrime works out of small suite here in town and apparently use other dealers to stock there guns.
Took less then 15 min for me to get a confirmation email saying it was ready to be picked up at the gun store. I see now on there web site there 999 and only have two left

My Colt M4orgery has the KAC rail, and it has T numbers; I see no such numbers on the OP's rail .... plus there are other differences.
Mine has the T numbers. It’s got rail covers on it that why ya can’t see them. Don’t have the KAC rail tho.

Ok ....btw, does anyone know why --- or if --- the KAC rail is anything especially valuable? To me it is really only different than others in that it has a heat shield.

Maybe many years down the road as a collectors item. Even then there are so many out there I dont think it will be much. I have KAC RAS rails on my work Colt 6920 and on my M16A4 build. They are definitely a quality product.

If you look around enough you can find RAS rails from a company that was contracted to make the rails for the military. I think the name is P&S or something like that. They usually are a good bit cheaper than the KAC models.
